Abstract The Kr 3d correlation satellites have been studied experimentally by using plane polarized synchrotron radiation to record polarization dependent photoelectron spectra (PES), and theoretically employing the R-matrix method calculate photoionization cross sections, angular distributions. experimental allowed anisotropy parameters characterizing distributions, intensity branching ratios, related partial be evaluated. results are discussed in terms of normal conjugate shake-up processes. calculated distributions (PADs) associated with those that arise predominantly through mechanisms shown isotropic.
